Welcome to CALnections

CALnections is a web-based trip planner with information about ground transportation serving rural California regions - public buses, commercial carriers, shuttles and social service transportation. Right now, it includes information for Modoc County and the Sage Stage Bus with trips to/from Alturas, California. Within a few months, information will be added about ground transportation serving Lassen, Plumas, Mono and Inyo counties along US 395. Next year, we’ll add services for other northern California counties. Eventually CALnections will provide information about transportation services serving rural areas throughout California, allowing travelers to make intercity and interstate connections to get from remote places in the Golden State across the country.

You can help by using CALnections and giving us your feedback. Here are three ways to plan your first trip:

• Choose a destination city from the drop-down list without entering an address. Just starting typing the name of the city; find it and press “enter” to select.
• Enter an address, but realize that sometimes addresses are hard to find especially the first time. Same thing with our trip planner, but once you’ve tried and given us some feedback we can add that location to our system. So, the next time you visit CALnections, you’ll be able to find that location.
• Use the "stops" button to access a listing of popular places. Keep in mind that perhaps we can pick you up or drop you off at a more convenient place.
